New Exhibition of Poetic Abstract Paintings

Right now I have five large abstract paintings in a show at the National Academy Museum and School at 5 East 89th Street in New York City. They are in the back gallery on a large wall to the right. The exhibit continues until December 9th.

The works are ethereal and poetic with clear colors and layers of graffiti markings and underpainting.
Sun yellow and pink with greys and mauve.  Soft blues and faded lavender with tangerine and egg yolk  channeled with whites and lively markings.  "Circus" melts greens and blues with a touch of pink and pale yellow. A watery suggestion of landscape in spring greens and lavender blues floats in a mist. "Sailing" suggests sails emerging from a fog with morning sun breaking through a few spots.

  1. Gorgeous Peggy! Wow! How EXCITING to see your abstract HUGE, color field paintings. I'll take FROLIC and the top one with sunny yellow, mauve, pink and grey! Love that little dash of tangerine! Perfect!
